Toastmaster

  • From building a club back from the brink of closure, to celebrating at the international convention I have seen many sides of Toastmasters.
  • The one thing it all comes down to is people and our core value of Respect.
  • By listening to what our members want and need, we can convert that in to actions that lead to sustained change and improvement.
  • My own journey, since 2017 has been influenced and aided by number of people and after servicing in roles at area, district and division level, I want to continue to give back by serving you as Program Quality Director.

Testimonial

As a four-year active member of Mo’s club – Kent Speakers – I fully endorse Mo’s candidacy for District 91 Program Quality Director (PQD) 2024-2025)

Why?

Mo is passionate about Toastmasters’ (TM) envisioned future – to be the first-choice provider of dynamic, high-value, experiential communication and leadership skills development for each member. Mo strives to continue learning, stewarding towards TM envisioned future, and bringing the worldview of Toastmasters International to District 91 through his ongoing in-person attendance and training at the Toastmasters International Conferences where I first met Mo in 2018.

Mo, through our mutual Toastmasters club, Kent Speakers, as an active member and previous club president exhibits a supportive and positive learning experience which, in turn, empowers our members’ communication & leadership skill growth. Mo’s heartfelt dedication to Toastmasters shone through during his term as Kent Speaker’s past club president and Past Division J Director in supporting membership growth and stewarding quality club meetings along with delivering various Pathways projects and facilitating hybrid meeting format.

Through my interactions with Mo, I see his relentless enthusiasm, respect, open-mindedness, and listening persona. I am also impressed at Mo’s value of ensuring he is fit and strong enough to endure the new learnings and challenges, we all face, when taking on new leadership roles.

It is a thrill that Mo would like to give back so much of what he has learned and experience in Toastmasters by stepping up to continue his journey on the District 91 executive team as your current Club Growth Director 2023-2024 and standing for the subsequent position of Program Quality Director 2024-2025.
